| Entered 10th August 2009 A reminder to all umpires about the ruling agreed to at the pre-season meeting that all clubs would pay the umpires on the day of the match a fee of £22.00 with the League paying the odd £3.00 to make up the fee to £25.00 overall via a claim form matched to the appointments list at the end of the season. This is the second time that this situation has arisen this season. |

Entered 11th May 2009 All Clubs (including the Premier Division) are reminded that they should abide by the Pre-Season Meeting where it was agreed that all Clubs should pay the expenses to the Umpires at the end of the match, but preferably at the Tea Break. |

| Entered 10th February 2009 Important Letter - Please Read (Word Format)
You will have read by now the above letter from Brian Clay. Can I please
ask for your help in this matter concerning the payment of umpires
expenses, by replying as soon as possible, but no later that
22/2/09.Your Committee will be meeting on the following day to start to
put together the details for the 09 Handbook, details for which Graham Tidman is still waiting from some clubs ,despite repeated requests. Also
the fixtures as listed on the website will be the same in the handbook,
unless George Salmon is informed to the contrary. We as your committee
are dedicated to ensure that the league is run efficiently but this can
only be achieved with your co-operation.

| Entered 24th January 2008 Clubs are reminded that all fixtures listed on here at the time of despatch to the Handbook Printer will stand as the date of the fixture (unless their are extenuating circumstances and the League Committee know of the change or changes etc. No changes will be allowed at short notice and both clubs involved must agree, plus officials of the match informed). All changes will only be agreed by the League Committee. |
| Entered 7th November 2007 IMPORTANT Clubs are reminded that it was agreed at the AGM that the over rate would be speeded up and that clubs must aim for 16 overs per hour from season 2008. Umpires will intervene and inform captains if the rate falls below. Lost ball and unavoidable delays will be taken into account. There is no excuse for a match that commences at 2.00pm to not finish by 7.30pm at the latest. The League do not want to bring in more unnecessary penalties in a 40 over match. |
| IMPORTANT: Please make sure the correct postage is put on envelopes, any unpaid postage will not be accepted and will be returned to sender and treated as if the Result Sheet etc., did not arrive. Large envelopes with one sheet of paper in, it requires more than 1st Class Stamp. |
| Entered 22nd January 2007 I would appreciate it if all clubs could send me an up to date functional email address to represent their club. A lot of the ones I have at the moment are non-functional and I get them returned to me. It is most important the Clubs have an EMAIL ADDRESS. Would Clubs please check their club details on this site and correct anything that is not up to date.
